Chemotherapy for Pets

We offer Traditional Therapies services designed to keep your pet safe from common and potentially life-threatening diseases

Clinical Excellence Rooted in Experience

At Angel Care, traditional therapies provide the medical foundation for your pet’s journey. These therapies focus on accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and ongoing management to support the health and comfort of your pet. Dr. Kathy is the most experienced at treating this disease in the Midsouth who has spent her entire career since 1987 treating only those pets suffering from cancer, as well as providing acupuncture and rehab for animals with mobility issues.

Our Clinical Protocols

We utilize evidence based medical treatments to manage cancer and improve vitality.

Comprehensive Protocols: We offer “Gold Standard treatments” such as the CHOP protocol for lymphoma.

Targeted Therapies: We utilize single agent chemotherapy when a more focused approach is required for your pet’s specific needs.

Metronomic Care: This involves low dose, frequent medication that targets the blood supply of a tumor to maintain stability of the disease and quality of life.

The Stay-Together Experience

We believe that the presence of a family member is the best medicine for a pet’s anxiety. We do not utilize drop-off appointments. We invite and encourage you to sit or lay with your pet while they receive their treatment.

Arrival and Exam: Your appointment begins with a physical exam and blood work. You will remain with your pet during this time. We will remove your pet in order to draw the required labs but as soon as we are finished we will return him/her to you.

Comfortable Environment: Most treatments are relatively quick. If a visit requires more time, you are welcome to bring a laptop and connect to the guest Wi-Fi.
